Student and Class Pictures and Event Photos
I'm happy to attend group riding classes, trail rides, BBQs and other events and take photos of students or participants and their horses. Prices for these photos are very affordable, for example, $20 for an unframed 8 x 10" print. I don't charge any fee for attending your riding class or event.
Team or Group Photo Albums and Group Portraits
I'll work with you and your equestrian team or mounted patrol unit to create a custom photo album, calendars and group portraits. Photo album prices depend on the number of photos in the album. I'm happy to help you to create Horsey Portraits products that you can use for fund raisers for your group.
Horse Show Photos
I often attend horse shows and take photos of participants. Please go to http://www.horseyportraits.printroom.com to view and order prints of photos from horse shows and other events. If you can not find your event, please send an e-mail to info@horseyportraits.com and I will let you know when the photos will be available online.
Portrait Packages
Like a professional wedding photographer, I will work with you to create a package that satisfies your needs.
Most people want one or two large portraits for their home or office, and several 8 x 10 or 11 x 14 inch portraits for family members and relatives.
Please note that my package prices are based on what I deliver. There are no additional fees for my travel time, time spent photographing, or for the time I spend working on your portraits in my digital darkroom.
Below are my standard packages. Please consider these a starting point for creating a custom package for you.
The Classic Horsey Portrait Package - $1,500.
- Two 16 x 20 inch Horsey Portrait, same image or two images, framed
- Four 8 x 10 inch Horsey Portraits, same images as the 16 x20 portraits, framed
- A photo book containing 30 images
The Deluxe Horsey Portrait Package - $2,500.
- Three 24 x 30 inch Horsey Portraits, same image or different images, framed
- Six 8 x 10 Horsey Portraits, same images as the 24 x 30 portraits, framed
- A photo book containing 40 images
The Introductory Horsey Portrait Package - $950.
- Two 11 x 14 inch Horsey Portraits, same image or two images, framed
- Four 8 x 10 Horsey Portraits, same one or two images as the 11 x 14 portraits, framed
- A photo book containing 20 images
Custom Horsey Portrait Package
I can create canvas prints in sizes between 11 x 14 inches and 36 x 48 inches, depending on your needs. Color and Black and White prints are also available, in sizes from wallet size up to 36 x 48 inches.
I am happy to modify any of the above packages and give you a quote. There is a $500 minimum.

Print Sizes
You can order color photographs in any size from wallet size to 16" x 20" and larger sizes. Horsey Portraits are available on a variety of media, described below.
Traditional Color Photographic Prints
These photos are printed Fuji Crystal Archive Professional photographic paper, in Pro-Lustre semi-gloss, glossy, or matte finishes. Fujicolor Crystal Archive Professional Paper delivers superb color reproduction for a variety of skintones. Its improved professional base delivers superb, pure whites and bright highlights for enhanced clarity and three-dimensionality.

Metallic Color Photographic Prints
These prints are made on Kodak Professional Endura Metallic Paper, a distinctively unique paper with exceptional quality and color. Its metallic finish offers an additional level of dimensionality to your images.

- Glossy finish and distinctive metallic look
- Extreme sharpness and brightness
- Enhanced color gamut for rich colors and intense blacks
- Durable and tear-resistant
- State-of-the-art image stability (100 years in typical home display, 200 years in dark storage, 1 to 5 years for commercial display*)
Canvas Giclée Prints
Large size Horsey Portraits are printed on 21 mil thick canvas material using Giclée printing technology . The portrait is then double-coated with clear acrylic coating to protect the surface against fingerprints, dust, abrasion and ultra-violet (UV) light which causes fading. The result is a durable portrait, much like an oil painting in terms of brilliance of colors and surface texture. I guarantee the portrait against fading for 25 years. If you do not prefer canvas, you may request portraits made on archival paper with a pearl finish instead; prices and the guarantee are the same. Note that the canvas portraits are framed without glass.
All Horsey Portraits include a finished wood frame and are ready for hanging. If you wish, you can provide your own frames or have the framing done elsewhere, and I'll deliver unframed portraits and give you a credit for the frames.
A popular alternative to framing the canvas prints is the "edge wrap", in which the portrait wraps around the edges of the interior frame. Other framing options are available at additional cost.
Black and White Prints
I can also transform any color photo into a black and white image, with custom editing. Black and white prints are made on Ilford Ilfospeed RC Digital, a premium black & white panchromatic paper. It uniquely combines the famous Ilford silver halide technology already established via its market-leading traditional papers with a new coating which enables the highest quality continuous tone black & white images to be output from digital files.

- Extra bright, resin coated, water-resistant, medium weight (190gsm)
- Combines neutral image shading with excellent contrast and sharpness
- Produces a silver image tone which is fixed, predictable and reliable
- Excellent tone reproduction, rich blacks and bright white base tint
